How we got started We were bored in Latin class/after lunch and we started choreographing a fight scene. We decided to make it a movie and the plot has developed out of that. we were influenced by many movies/TV shows/stories, such as: The Matrix, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Roswell, and Lord of The Rings to name a few. The movie is an "action movie" (more of a fight movie though, because we don't have anything blowing up or anything).
	Character Bios: Anna (Emma): A "chosen one," skilled fighter, junior in high school, friends with Adam and Danny. She gets killed right away, but she may return as one of Adam's henchmen so that Danny will have to fight her. Danny (Lisa): Also a "chosen one" but she does not know that. She is naturally a skilled fighter and athlete, but she lacks training. She is distantly related to Anna and Nev, which she does not know as well. She is good friends with Anna, but her feelings for Adam go deeper than friendship. She is unsure about her feelings about being a "chosen one" when she finds out. Adam (Evan): Good friends to Anna and Danny until he finds a medallion that possesses him and gives him evil powers. He also has deeper-than-friendship feelings for Danny, which will cause interesting plot twists. Nev (Lauren): Anna's cousin who comes in at Anna's funeral. She is a very skilled and experienced "chosen one" so it is her job to train and inform Danny. She feels a sense of responsibility for Danny and does not have any friendship ties to Adam, so she takes it upon herself for the most part to defeat him. She has met Adam before, but it was when he was already taken over by the medallion so she does not know his good side.

	Plot synopsis: The movie is called Pieta after Michelangelo's sculpture of the virgin Mary holding Jesus (our movie is not religious, it has to do with how we end the movie). It is about the battle between good and evil (the inner battle of people as well as a literal battle between "good" characters and "evil" characters). The very basics: Adam (played by Evan) has found a medallion that he does not know anything about. it possesses him and makes him evil. Before the medallion, Danny, Anna and Adam had been very good friends. Anna and Danny are both called to fight, but they do not know by who. Anna knows about the medallion (although she does not realize it is Adam who has it), but she is killed before she can explain it to Danny. Nev (Lauren) appears shortly after Anna dies to save Danny from Adam while they are fighting after Anna's funeral. Nev takes Danny to a nearby park to try to explain things to her, when Adam shows up again. There is a chase, and Adam has a little fun experimenting with his powers, but he disappears, leaving things unresolved again. Nev explains to Danny why Adam has turned evil and that Nev, Anna and Danny are "chosen" in some way to fight people who come across the ring. The goal of Danny and Nev is to pull Adam back to the good side and get him to give them the ring. Danny at first doesn't believe it, but she thinks about it and realizes it must be true. She undergoes training, both mental and physical, but gets very stressed out about having to fight Adam because she has always felt connected to him. It is the last straw when she visits Anna's grave and Anna appears as a henchman whome Danny must destroy. At this point, Adam (who also felt a connection to Danny, even after he became evil) takes advantage of that to try to pull Danny to the dark side so that he won't have to hurt her (and it's one more person on his side, one less on the good side). He does this by giving her a small amount of power, thinking she'll taste it and want more. At first Danny actually considers it, but then Nev comes to the rescue and Danny realizes she wouldn't want to have to hurt people. We haven't worked on what will be between this and the end. Probably more fights, more training. Maybe Nev could get kidnapped! This needs to be taken up with Lauren first. At the end, the medallion will be destroyed, but the catch is that it kills the bearer unless they destroy it themselves. That's all I'm gong to give away (plus we're not completely sure about all of the details) except that it will end with Danny cradling Adam in the same pose as Michelangelo's Pieta. A detailed description of what we've filmed already: Anna and Danny are told to meet at the school at 1:04AM (a random time that we may try to figure out significance/symbolism for later) but they don't know who told them to meet there. (The audience sees this through a flashback when Adam asks about their plans for tonight, which many people don't seem to understand for some reason). They also don't know that both of them were told that, so when they sneak out and run into each other at the school, they both assume that the other person was the one that called them there. The only thing they really know is that they're probably there for some kind of fight. So Anna and Danny go to the school at 1:04, but they run into each other first, and since they don't know that the other peson was called there, the assume the other person must've called them there. They are shocked, but they fight each other, not realizing they are fighting the wrong person. All of a sudden henchmen appear and they realize that they shouldn't be fighting each other. They quickly defeat the henchmen, but they know it's not over because the henchmen's bodies disappeared. So they figure that someone else actually called them there. They wait because they do not know what else to do or what is going on. They here footsteps almost right away. to their surprise, it was their good friend Adam. Adam knocks Anna unconscious with telekinesis but then her body disappears. Danny reluctantly and confusedly fights back. She realizes that he has some kind of special power because she cannot seem to hit him so she finally gets a punch in his stomach, knocks him down and runs away. She turns back at the last minute just in time to see Evan disappear. END SCENE.

	Random facts: The original clip was about 7.5 minutes long. Emma shortened it to 5 minutes. She is going to edit them together to get a nice middle ground. But in the 7.5 minutes of movie (it really couldn't be more than that, even if she tried) there were over 6 minutes of bloopers. Total injury count: Emma was punched twice and body-slammed once. Lisa was slapped once, possibly punched once. Erik was punched in the nose really hard. Ben fell into a wall. Guess who caused all of the injuries except for 3: Lisa. Matt caused the body slamming of Emma. Emma caused the slapping of Lisa. Ben of course caused himself to fall into a wall.
