Pieta updates
2-6-03: AAAAHHHH!!!!! PERMISSION TO USE REMY ZERO'S MUSIC HAS BEEN GRANTED!!!! YES!!!! (provided of course, that we make no money off the film, which we won't most likely, so yeah. ) THANK YOU RACHEL!!!!1-31-03: Emma emails Remy Zero once again, because they have not responded. The family member emailed her back again. She, bless her soul, said she would call them, because they are busy, and get an answer for Emma today or tomorrow hopefully. THANK YOU RACHEL! More updates soon to come, I hope. Oh, she also emailed Lunatic Calm and their manager in hopes of getting permission to use that song. cross your fingers everyone!
12-11-02: Emma is told that the movie gets accepted in a film festival called "Girls in the Director's Chair."!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!! Lauren and Emma are freaking out. However, the movie needed to be shortened to 5 minutes. Emma finished that, but is still trying to get permission to use the music. A family memeber of two of the band members of Remy Zero has responded and was kind enough to send the information to the band and their manager, which is a start. Lauren and Emma are going to try to get together to work on the movie this weekend, although it probably won't involve any filming. The five minute version will be played at the Walker Art Center in Mpls, MN on March 1, 2003 at 4pm. The possible cost to view the movie is unknown at this time.

Other random updates
Emma and Lisa have been busy writing songs but have not made any progress sharing these songs with each other, practicing them or anything. Emma has been working on her documentary little by little but has not gotten to take any new footage due to lack of computer space and therefor her efforts have pretty much come to a halt. Things also may go on the back-burner as Emma pursues a college search.
Lauren has been working on her digital art at Fotki and building a portfolio. She has also been developing and working on her Fantasy series, including drawings and new characters. She recently started another fantasy series that is loses tied to the Lord of the Rings series. Emma and Lisa also plan on working on stories for this series. Links will be posted to the site about this that Lauren is working on when it is ready. She also hopes to work on the movie during her spare (be it little) time. She recently got a new dog (which Emma is working on doing the same).
Emma finished her final animation project for school, of which Lauren is the star. It's pretty crappy cuz Emma sucks at animation, but it's done and it's cute for how primitive it is.
